Various participants from France have taken part in the first workshop in Timisoara.

Teachers
1. Dancing: Maria and Marius Ursu
Marius Ursu is the master choreographer of the folk ensemble Doina Timisului of The Students’ Culture House in Timisoara.
Maria Ursu is the choreographer of the folk ensemble for youth Doina.
2. Music: Cristian Balteanu (violin)
Cristian Balteanu is a professional instrument player at the folk ensemble Banatul from Timisoara.

Opinions
I express my thanks to you, Marius and Maria, for allowing us to discover or rediscover the dances from Banat, in the summer of 2004. Thanks to you we have discovered the joy of “Ardelene”, “Brauri” and “De doi” on counter-rhythm. Everything starting, with a perfect organization of the workshop, a constant desire to satisfy and a good-will and availability common to each one of the persons that have been involved, either our dancers Cristian, Adrian and Cosmin, who have proved very patient in helping us acquire the sometimes difficult repertoire, either the musicians, Achim and Remus, who have accompanied us.
Equally, we appreciated the fact we had taken advantage of the festival from Timisoara. The summer evenings when we watched the performances given by “Doina Timisului”, as well as, by other folk ensemble from Romania, have been moments of bliss. We also remember the “dancing moments” with “Doina Timisului” or with the dancers from the mountain village of Crisma, who allowed us to experience truthfully our dancer abilities.
